hidden supermarket treasure

I'm not one for spicy food, but i do like a neat, mild malaysian chicken curry. Considering the circumstances of not having fresh spices or my own curry plant growing in the garden, or the lack of fresh coconut milk makes making curry from scratch a little difficult to say the least.

Anyhow, here's when Mr Brahim comes in useful. You wouldn't dare to use ready made pastes if you were living back home, but when you're here in england (and desperate for a chicken curry), i say, you are more than allowed.

In 5 easy steps, dinner couldn't have been easier.
  1. Find a pot.
  2. Throw in chicken, puds and terrific-oh-so-life-saving paste
  3. Add 2 cups water
  4. Bring to boil then simmer until curry is thick
  5. Dinner is ready - you may stuff your face.
And of course, you have to thank your parents for bringing it over.

Currently doing: Eating left-over curry for breakfast and enjoying the morning sun. Today the weather is bootiful!
