I know i've had a good weekend when i've

1. Drunk enough cafe lattes to fill up a bath-tub
2. Walked down oxford street and peered in every shop window
3. Wound down my car windows and sing along my brand-new MIKA cd (thanks mei)
4. Chilled out in 3/4s and walked around in flip-flops
5. Eaten countless mint ice-creams and twisters enough to cause severe tummy-ache
6. Read everyone's blog
7. Spent too much time in HMV and Virgin
8. Developed arm ache from Wii-ing
9. Listened to Bev mimic scenes from Little Britain
10. Have to pack for work again (NO!!!)
    

Wheeee...

On-Call Day 2

Today is a good day. The cricketeers have left the mess and we can watch um..Takeshi's Castle?!

Found someone sitting on my doorstep when i got back late last night. He had a cake with un-lighted candles. Not for the lack of trying - the wind kept blowing his candles out.I'm not one for gushing about boyfriends and stuff, but i have to give HW some credit. How sweet was that??? 10/10 today!

On-call again. Clearly, i've got some spare minutes. But fingers crossed and tonight will be a Q.U.I.E.T night. (please)

Currently doing: Waiting for my yellow bleep to go. Actually, no. I take that back.

On-Call Day 1

Already I am lagging. And i'm only 5 hours into the evening. I've got a massive headache, i'm still hungry and the telly is being hogged by the blooming cricket until oh, May!

The heat is unbearable. The corridors smell of smelly feet and the wards are so stuffy, you can even smell the bedpan from 10 beds away. Sigh.

Anyway, overheard in the corridor:

Woman to her son

Not you, son. I wuz talking about them women.

We 'ave to take them stairs lovey, because of them 3 fat women at the lift.

That's why they are SO-O fat. They don't ever move.

And we wonder why children these days are so rude.

Currently thinking: Dreading having to work till late tmw. No dinner party. No presents. Just boring work. Is this what happens when you are O.L.D???

Kimmie-Squeaky-Clean...Aaaah

Those of you who know me well, know that, erm..i have a teeny-weeny obsession with cleaniness and things being tidy. There is no such thing as an organized mess, Bev! Also, those of you that know my sisters well, or have been to my house for that matter, know that my sisters are the entire opposite and like, hell no, LOVE mess. Grr...

Anyhoos, being away in Kent means that i cannot deal with my sisters' mess on a daily basis, and instead come back on the weekends and embrace it albeit rather grumpily and close my eyes and hide in my room, which really is the ONLY clean + tidy corner of our tiny flat. Hoo-Sa

However, I simply couldn't stand it for 1 second no longer. I CLEANED AND CLEANED AND CLEANED THIS WEEKEND!!! Now amongst others, i have:

1. An utterly eat-off-the-floor carpet. There are no crumbs, no hair, man, i bet there isn't even a single dust mite left. Hee.

2. An o-so-shiny-you-can-see-your-reflection hob. I have scraped and polished and have removed every little bit of oil and grime and bits of bacon and dessicated egg bits...

3. I have even washed + waxed (kinda) my car. I've always taken the car to the car wash, but decided i'd do it myself with HW and yeah...RJ looks almost as good as new now (minus the boo boo)...There are no more squashed bugs acquired from the motorway and no more mud splats on the sides..hahaha. Keeping my fingers crossed it does not rain!

Now i'm happy. Really happy - till the weekend, when my sisters would have easliy reversed the order i have organised. All i have to do now, is to scrub the grime off my fingernails and get myself a nice french manicure...

Currently thinking: Oncall tonight.. I donch wanna!!! =(

The sun is shining, it's a lovely day!

Just a quick update:

1. Congrats to all my peers on F1/2 postings - everyone seems well pleased (as am I!)
2. Easter weekend has gone by so quickly. Aargh. But fret not, holiday-crazy-me is already on the case for my next holiday, exactly 1 month from now. Can't wait.
3. My telly watching skills have diminished. Unfortunately, my quest to compleye grey's and house has failed miserably. Sigh. Where have my telly watching skills disappeared to???
4. Healthy eating has been oh-so-UN-successful. It doesn't help when i'm always surrounded by chocolates and i've got a new taste for toast with honey.
5. It's another short week!!! WOOHOO! with NO on-calls. Double WOOHOO!

Currently doing: Cleaning up after my siblings. They must be the reason why everything must be clean - "KIMMIE-CLEAN"
