Tick-tock goes the clock

As HW & I sat round samosas and springrolls chatting with a bunch of sixth-formers (younglings aged 17-19), i suddenly realised i had entered adulthood yonks ago. Soon, i'll be exiting the 18-25 age range. Dang! How quickly 7 years have passed since my sixth-form years. Gosh, i still remember our water tower hill adventures so clearly. Still, it was sweet listening to them "younglings" (please, they were all bigger and taller than me) gossip and rave over things like fake ids, being partnered with certain "someones" for a slow dance, much-loved erm.. test periods, crappy canteen meals, and best of all, the infamous telly hogging group which had the common room perpectually tuned into maximum volume of (distasteful) hip-hop and RnB.

Gone were the days of the occasional naughty cocktail at the insistance of Koniman and Louis - Now, who cares 2 hoots about too much chianti, or a nice G&T every thursday at the social club. In fact, bring on the amaretto night-caps!

However, it was still nice (and somewhat shocking) to be asked for my driver's license at Tesco over a bottle of chablis. Mmm-hmm... I didn't know minors enjoyed flinty chablis - i would have thought all they were after was cheap beer. Haha.

Currently doing: Waiting for the bf to awake from his slumber - did he drive here to see me or enjoy my luxurious duvet? hmm...
