A Twig for a Gift

Something funny happened today and since B has already put up a post on it, im just gonna cut and paste it from her blog.


It was my sister's birthday last Monday and we celebrated by having the usual feast at Four Seasons. (Yum!) Happy belated birthday Jie! I know you want the world to know that you are now TWENTY-THREE! Heh heh.



Anyway, she received a package in the post today and was quite excited.

(Retrieves a twig from the package and appears a little confused)

Oh my gosh. Who on earth would want to give you a twig?!

I mean, erm, is that supposed to be some sort of 'dried pressed flower' or something?

(still looking confused, but ruffles in the package for a note, then the voice erupts)

oooohHHHHHH!!!! It's my DRIED RIBENA CUTTING! REMEMBER LAST WEEK I TOLD YOU I WON A RIBENA COMPETITION AND THEY WERE GONNA GIVE ME A CUTTING?!!!!!! OH COOL OH COOL OH COOL!!!!!!! WHERE SHOULD I PUT IT!!!!

I was just thinking that you must be quite a sad person, to have have such a sad friend, who would think that by giving a branch, he would really make your day. Hahaha. Oh welll.... I guess not.
